Handfuls of joy at Christmas party
It was a morning of fun and joy for a group of children at the Field's Hill Helping Hands Christmas party.
THE Field’s Hill Helping Hands organisation hosted a Christmas party for the children who were affected by the Field’s Hill truck accident last year.
“It was really wonderful seeing all our families again united and the children were super excited,” said Karen Janisch of the Field’s Hill Helping Hands group.
A jumping castle was sponsored, which the children spent the most of the afternoon on. Karen said the children’s eyes grew as wide as saucers when they laid their eyes upon the toy pond, where they were given the opportunity to fish for a present or two. Father Christmas was the highlight of the party and his two fairy helpers assisted in handing out all the presents.
“On behalf of the Field’s Hill Helping Hands I would like to send a heart felt thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors as they made this party, which brought so much joy, happen,” said Karen.
