Overcome your fear of snakes with Pat McKrill
Learn about our local snakes with snake expert, Pat Mckrill.
Hillcrest Conservancy will host a snake awareness morning on Saturday, 22 November at Springside Nature Reserve, Springside Road, Hillcrest from 9am to 11am.
Pat McKrill author of “Getting to Know the Neighbours” will be the speaker. Topics to be covered are common species recognition, what to do with snakes that come into our gardens and how to overcome fear of snakes.
Everyone is welcome. BYO refreshments to enjoy afterwards in the beautiful setting of Springside Nature Reserve. Picnic tables, benches, braai and other facilities available.
Cost: R40 per adult, children under 12 years, R20.
