ST Benedict School’s Chenoa Brenkman, who was recently selected for the KZN High School Girls’ U19 Cricket Squad has been chosen as the school’s SPAR Star of the Month.
The grade 9 pupil plays for the school’s U15 girls’ team.
Head of the high school, Darren de Gouviea-Smith said, in 2012, Chenoa represented SA as a member of the U16 South African action cricket team, at the junior world series in Johannesburg.
“We are extremely proud of Chenoa’s selection for the KZN U19 squad, considering that she is still only in Grade 9.
“We wish her and the KZN team all the best for the CSA Girls’ U19 week,” he said. The event will be held in Nelspruit from Friday 12 to Tuesday 16 December,” he said.
