Eleven injured on M13

Netcare 911 paramedics attended to 11 people who were injured in a taxi accident at the weekend.

ELEVEN people were injured in a taxi accident just past the St Johns Road Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

Chris Botha, media spokesman for Netcare 911, said the taxi was heading towards Durban when it was believed to have been rear-ended by another vehicle at about 4pm in the afternoon. Four of the people in the taxi were seriously injured.

“Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the roadway to be obstructed by the vehicles. The people were found at the side of the roadway. After paramedics stabilised the injured on scene they transported them to a nearby hospital,” said Botha.
