Four injured in Hans Dettman crash
One motorist was seriously injured in the two-vehicle collision.
FOUR people were injured when a bakkie collided with a light motor vehicle on Hans Dettman highway, yesterday morning.
According to Derrick Banks, ER24 spokesman, the bakkie collided with the vehicle on the passenger side as the vehicle entered the Hans Dettman Highway via the M7 off ramp.
The driver of the light motor vehicle was seriously injured during the accident. It was suspected that he suffered a pelvis fracture as well as neck and back injuries.
His two women passengers received minor injuries. The three patients were stabalised by paramedics and transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the bakkie also suffered only minor injuries and was transported to a hospital before ER24 paramedics arrived on scene.
Authorities were on scene and will investigate the cause of the accident.
