Body found in New Germany

THE decomposed body of a man was found near Padfield Road, New Germany on Saturday morning.

According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer Lt Bongumusa Manqele, the body was discovered at 8.15am by two women who were searching for wood.

“The body was found in a field and was suspected to have been there for a month judging by the state it was in.

“The deceased was wearing grey shorts, a golf t-shirt, green jacket and black shoes.

“A clinic card with his details was found in his pocket and there was a golf club next to his body,” said Manqele.

An  inquest was opened at the Pinetown police station.
