THE 101st Durban Johannesburg Motorcycle Rally will roar into life on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 March.

This year five international participants will take part as well as four female riders, one of whom is Samantha Anderson from Drummond. She will be riding the oldest motorcycle at the event, a 1909 Humber which has no clutch or kick start. The bikes can be viewed at the Hillcrest Corner shopping centre’s basement parking on Thursday 6 March.

The bikes will rumble out of the upper level parking area from 6.01am on Friday 7 March and are set to arrive in Johannesburg on Saturday 8 March from about 2.30pm at Turffontein Race course. Contact Pam on 082 773 2923.
