Kloof High learner wins two silver medals for cycling

Teegan speeds into SA cycling Champs.

STRENGTH and endurance are qualities which Kloof High School’s Grade 10 learner and avid cyclist, Teegan Coulonval possesses in abundance.

He participated in the KZN Road and Time Trial Cycling Championships held in Ladysmith on 18/19 January and rode away with a silver medal in the 20kmTime Trial event.

The following day, he rode the 84km road race but unfortunately, in the sprint for gold, crashed on the corner 100m from the finish. He managed to get back on his bike, and finally finished in second place to win another silver medal.

“Kloof High is extremely proud of Teegan’s achievements and wishes him well for the SA Championships which are to be held in KZN from 4 to 9 February, ” said Barbara Forbes, PR for Kloof High School.
