Missing butcher suffered breakdown

A message written on behalf of Ian Henry's family claims he suffered a breakdown.

HILLCREST store manager Ian Henry suffered a nervous breakdown due to stress. This is according to a public message posted by Bluff Meat Supply’s Calven Robinson on Facebook on behalf of the Henry family.

According to the message now circulating on social media, Henry has been hospitalized and will remain in hospital “until his doctors feel he is physically and mentally strong enough to be sent home”.

Responding  to public speculation about Henry’s whereabouts while he was missing, Robinson referred to comments and rumours on social media that were “distasteful and cruel.”

The message further states that, “there is no ‘other’ woman and no issues between Ian and his company. Ian has not touched a drop of alcohol for many years and does not gamble. There is no sensational story – just a man who has been through a stressful time and who broke down…”

Henry, a business partner and manager of Bluff Meat Supply in Hillcrest, was reported missing by his family on Monday after he failed to arrive at a meeting. He was reportedly found on Thursday in his car at the Suncoast Casino parking lot at around 2am.
