Domestic workers sharpen up their cleaning skills
Domestic workers got to sharpen up their cleaning skills with some good advice.
LOCAL domestic workers recently had a chance to brush up on their house cleaning skills at Hirschs Hillcrest’s popular free Domestic training workshop.
Patsy Peria, Unilever’s product consultant, spoke to the attendees about the correct use of cleaning products and detergents whilst using a washing machine and dishwasher. Patsy also went through some basic cleaning ideas and how to get rid of stubborn stains. She also showed the women what products should be used when and why.
Miele representative, Cheryl Woollat, spoke about the different vacuum cleaners, their functions and how to use a vacuum cleaner correctly achieving top results. Cheryl also went through the filtration system explaining the importance of keeping a vacuum cleaner dust free and clean to prevent damage to it.
Each attendee left with a wealth of knowledge, some goodies and a certificate confirming their attendance.
