THOUSANDS of Calum Scott fans have been left in the lurch after the British-born singer cancelled his show in Durban.

The singer rose to prominence in 2015 after competing on the TV talent contest, Britains Got Talent, where he performed his version of Robyn’s hit, ‘Dancing on My Own’.

The singer posted on his Instagram page, saying, “It is with utter regret that I must inform you of the cancellation of tonight’s gig at the Durban Botanic Gardens’ market space.”

He wrote that the cancellation was due to current weather complications.

He asked his fans to stand by for an update, which he will announce within the next 12 hours, as he and his team are desperately trying to find an alternative solution.

The show was part of Scott’s Bridges Tour. The singer performed on Wednesday in the rain at Kirstenbosch in Cape Town.
