The Pinetown police station is in search of a suspect who allegedly stabbed an officer to death. They also wish to inform the public about a temporary Community Service Centre move.

THE Pinetown police station is appealing to the public to come forward with information regarding the murder of their police officer who was stabbed. Manqele said the events leading up to the scene are currently being investigated. “We were told by eyewitnesses that an argument ensued between the victim and an unknown person when he was stabbed and succumbed to the injuries. No one has been arrested yet as we did not find the alleged perpetrator at the scene,” he said.

Manqele also noted, with importance, that the police station in Pinetown will be temporarily moved due to renovations as of Wednesday, October 12.
