KwaDabeka man in hospital after a shooting incident

A 39-year-old man was allegedly shot in KwaDabeka on Dumisani Makhaye Road.

A case of attempted murder is being investigated by the KwaDabeka SAPS after a man was shot. KwaZulu-Natal spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala, said, “It is alleged that on 18 July, at 11:20, a 39-year-old man was shot and wounded while on Dumisani Makhaye Road in KwaDabeka.”

 Emer-G-Med reported that their paramedics, together with Netcare991, responded to a shooting incident.

On arrival on scene, a male was found to have sustained multiple high-calibre gunshot wounds in an armed robbery incident,” they reported. 

They said that the man was treated and stabilised on the scene before he was airlifted to a specialist facility for treatment.
