Adopt a forever pet at Kloof SPCA

Due to the high number of animals that are handed over, the Kloof and Highway SPCA will host its very first Adoption Open Day this Sunday.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA will be hosting its very first Adoption Open Day on Sunday, November 28 from 09:00 to 15:00.

Brigitte Ferguson from the Kloof SPCA said the number of animals being surrendered has drastically increased.

She reminded anyone wishing to adopt an animal that a pet is a responsibility and often a long-term commitment.

“The SPCA is filled with beautiful, happy animals that have not always had the privilege of a responsible owner and they are waiting for their chance at a happy ending. All they want for Christmas is you,” she said.

There will be hourly appointments available over the course of the day to accommodate any adoptions.

“Walk-ins are welcome, but we ask people to be patient. Normal adoption procedures will still be followed, including a home inspection and socialisation,” she added.

To book an appointment, contact the SPCA on 031 764 1212 or email the adoption officer, Tania, at adoption@kloofspca.co.za.
