The National AIDS Trust, this year, is spreading the word for the public to #RockTheRibbon and be an HIV ally.

“Ask your colleagues, students, friends, and family to #RockTheRibbon with you by hosting a fundraising event, using our fundraising red ribbons, and much more,” the organisation stated.

To purchase a ribbon and to support the campaign, visit www.worldaidsday.org.

The local NGO, the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust (HACT) is dedicated to saving and transforming lives. As one of the first NGO’s in South Africa to respond to the HIV/AIDS epidemic, HACT has established a reputation for making a significant and meaningful impact in the lives of people impacted by the disease.

To support HACT, you can purchase a beaded red ribbon at the Woza Moya and Friends shop or online at www.wozamoya.co.za.
