Baby home welcomes warm-hearted donation
The Tiny Steps Care Team donated blankets and beanies, food and clothing to Baby House Westville.

WINTER is definitely here, making the recent donation of warm blankets, beanies, food and clothing to Baby House Westville greatly appreciated.
The items were collected and donated by the Tiny Steps Care Team.
The home is a safe house for abandoned babies and babies placed for adoption.

“We are a privately run, community-funded non-profit organisation and we are currently home to six babies aged between 10 months old and two years old.
“We are always grateful for any and all baby related products as we rely totally on our beautiful community to help keep our doors open and our precious babies cared for,” said Terri Wentzel from the Baby House Westville.
She added that they are so grateful to all the donors who gave so generously to the Tiny Steps Care Team who in turn so graciously blessed the baby home.
Founder of the care team, Naadia Sheik-Hameed said they started their Winter Warmth Drive 2021.

She said The Westville Baby House is one of the two abandoned baby houses, they care for on a monthly basis.
“We are so grateful to be of help to the babies by providing them with warm attire and definitely fresh produce, groceries and loaves of bread,” she said.
