Raise your pinkie for fundraiser breakfast
The event, held on Friday, 23 April, is to raise funds to purchase care packs for for hundreds of children in the Valley of 1 000 Hills.
JOIN The Valley Trust (TVT) for its Help Us Learn While We Play breakfast fundraiser on Friday, 23 April at Fig Trees Farm on Inanda Road in Hillcrest.
The event is in support of TVT’s Khula Kahle Mntwana Project that benefits more than 1 000 young children in the Valley of 1 000 Hills. Funds raised will be used to purchase care packs that contain toys, books, warm winter clothes and other items needed by the children.
Community members are also welcome to donate any new or pre-loved toys and winter clothing for newborns to nine year olds before or after the event.
The keynote address at the breakfast will be delivered by Shane Ward, who will speak about Good Corporate Citizenship in Uncertain Times.
Shane is a recognised authority on the subject of corporate citizenship and is passionate about spreading a message of trust as a basis for business success.
He has spent more than 15 years with the First Rand Group as the regional director of advisory and later chairman of wealth management. Shane has hands-on experience in leading through tough times.

Individuals and companies are invited to contribute by sponsoring raffle draw prizes, guest gifts, and/or auction items or make a cash donation. TVT will provide a Section 18A receipt for any donation received, on request.
