Mariannhill SAPS continue search for three missing men

Siphesihle Khumalo (18) and Olwethu Memela (19) went missing earlier this month while Nkululeko 'Africa' Mlotshwa (26) was last seen on Christmas Day.

MARIANNHILL police are appealing to the community for assistance in their search for three missing men.

Eighteen-year-old, Siphesihle Khumalo from Mariannhill was last seen on 9 January 2021 at 6.15am accompanying his sister to the Durban station.

KZN police spokesperson, Capt Nqobile Gwala Khumalo said he was last seen wearing a white vest, red jacket and yellow takkies.

Siphesihle Khumalo was last seen on 9 January 2021.

The second person Mariannhill SAPS needs help locating is 19-year-old, Olwethu Memela of Savanna Park, Luganda. Memela went missing on 10 January 2021 at 10pm.

“He was last seen wearing a black track-suit, short sleeved green t-shirt with black and white shoes,” said Gwala.

 The third person, Nkululeko Mlotshwa (26) from Madiba Valley in Mariannhill, was last seen on Christmas Day.

Mlotshwa is known as ‘Africa’ and is originally from Clermont.  

He was last seen wearing a navy blue cap, navy t-shirt and blue takkies.

He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

“We are appealing to anyone who can assist with information with regards to their whereabouts to contact the investigating officer Det/W/O Sithebe.” Sithebe can be contacted on 078 496 1527/061 596 9157 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
