Bellair SAPS launch 16 Days of Activism campaign against GBV

For the first five days of this year's 16 Days campaign, South Africans will spend time mourning those who died this year from Covid-19 and GBV.

POLICE and members of the CPF group at Bellair SAPS launched the 2020 campaign of 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence (GBV) on Wednesday at the station’s community service centre.

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children Campaign, better known as the 16 Days Campaign, is a United Nations campaign taking place annually from 25 November, International Day of No Violence against Women, to 10 December, International Human Rights Day.
