Man airlifted to hospital after Sea View crash
Two men were injured in the Codemore Road accident.
ONE person was airlifted to hospital after a serious accident on Codemore Road in Sea View just after 2pm today.
There was an accident between a truck and a security vehicle and, according to the spokesman for Rescue Care, Rowan Scandroglio, a male passenger was trapped inside the vehicle and in critical condition.

Rescue Care Advanced Life Support paramedics worked to stabilise the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, while the Netcare 911 Rescue Unit, together with the Durban Fire Department, used the Jaws of Life to free him.
Once he was free, the Netcare 911 Aero Medical Helicopter was called in to airlift the man to a hospital
“The driver of the bakkie sustained serious injuries and was stabilised on the scene by paramedics before being transported to hospital,” said Scandroglio.
