WATCH: Bikers rev up to Durban for farm murder protest

More than 100 bikers gathered in north Durban before riding in convoy to the Durban Magistrate's Court to deliver their memorandum at 10am.

BIKERS showed up in their numbers at the south bound Petroport near Queen Nandi Drive on Saturday morning to join the nationwide Bikers United Against Farm Murders and Racism protest.
Bikers gathered at the Petroport at 9.45am before heading to the Durban Magistrate’s Court to deliver their memorandum at 10am.
Durban North resident, David Christie, who is the president of The Family Motor Cycle Club, was among the protesters gathered at the Petroport on Saturday.

Bikers marked their motorbikes with small white or black cross with the names of murdered farmer attached.
“I am a Boer and we don’t like what is happening. Before we take action, we want the government to take action,” he said.
Rad Reddy, a Greenwood Park resident and president of Our Brotherhood Motor Cycle Club said: “We are all going to stand together with a slow ride to Durban Court to show our unity against farm murders and racism in South Africa.”
Women taking part in the protest were encouraged to carry white roses and men marked their motorbikes with small white or black crosses with the names of murdered farmers attached. These will be laid down at Durban Magistrate’s Court.
