The suspects fled with two cellphones and no one has been arrested as yet.

A 69-YEAR-OLD man and his son were stabbed in their Cowies Hill home in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, 11 August).

Manqele said the victims then noticed two suspects, armed with knives, in the passage.

“The father was stabbed on the arm and his son also sustained a stab wound on the arm when he tried to intervene. Both victims were rushed to hospital for medical attention,” explained Manqele.

Two cellphones were stolen during the robbery.

“The suspects fled the scene through the lounge window,” added Manqele.

No arrests have been made yet and police are investigating.
