Picture perfect: Have your pets portrait done for Kloof SPCA fundraiser

Simply make a donation to the local animal shelter, then send through an image of your pet and ta-da - a new talking point to add to your lounge wall.

TO commemorate Mandela Day, Saturday, 18 July, Kerry Carter will take 67 bookings for pet portraits to help raise much-needed funds for the Kloof and Highway SPCA.

How does it work?
Simply make a donation of R67 or more to the local animal shelter, send through your proof of payment to the Janine at the Kloof and Highway SPCA at pr@kloofspca.co.za, then email a picture of your pet, three words to describe your furry friend as well as the proof of donation to Kerry Carter at kerry.halse@gmail.com.

Portraits will be completed in order of booking.

“I will be doodling a pet-a-day: simple pictures to capture your pet’s personality,” said Carter.

Once your email has been sent through, Carter will confirm the next available date and the 67 donors will receive a digital copy (JPG and PDF) of the A4 drawing on the confirmed day.

A4 hard copies will also be available to collect, or can be couriered at the pet owner’s own cost.

“Please note that if you participate, you are agreeing to allow me to use your pet’s image to advertise the art of Dotty Zebra Designs,” said Carter.
