“I want to see it through not only as an actor but as a youth member.” SA Youth Television is a subscription and advert funded television channel intended for broadcast on the DSTV bouquet. It was founded by parent company EDK Media (EzaseDurbanKzn Media).

The channel intends to broadcast a minimum of 80 per cent programming which is produced by the youth of South Africa.

Qiniso said the youth of South Africa will benefit a lot from this channel as they will gain access to be able to showcase their talent and also learn in the process.

“People who are already in this industry can vouch for me that the acting industry is not easy, there are many actors today without jobs and this channel is here to give youth more opportunities and I am grabbing it with both hands because my future is here,” said Qiniso.

He said he saw this opportunity on social platforms.

“The channel was looking for volunteers in all the provinces in SA and I applied because my heart is in the entertainment industry and I got accepted.”

“I was recently voted as the KZN spokesperson and each province has its own. I will be the one answering questions for the KZN region. This is a great project for me,” said the excited Qiniso.

The channel has a YouTube channel running currently and shows are broadcasted there and on other social platforms like Facebook.
