Boxer helps fight against hunger

More than 250 food parcels were made up for beneficiaries of the Gillitt Foundation.

BOXER’S Hunger Relief Programme has continued to provide organisations with food parcels for needy families and it recently made a large donation to the Gillitt Foundation to help families in the Stockville area.

More than 250 food parcels were curated, packed and delivered to the foundation by Boxer Pinetown.

The food parcels ensured that the communities who rely heavily on the Gillitt Foundation were able to eat nutritious meals during the national lockdown.

“The Hunger Relief Programme is a massive effort from Boxer and organisations which are determined to help feed as many communities as possible. When we were approached by the Gillitt Foundation, we sprang into action to deliver the necessary full Boxer food hampers on time. To see the support organisations such as this Foundation assisting so many people is a true sign of Ubuntu,” said Boxer marketing director, Andrew Mills.
