VIDEO: Alleged burglar shot, arrested in Cowies Hill
The suspect has been released and will appear in court soon.
MULTIPLE shots rang through the air in Cowies Hill on Tuesday evening as an alleged burglar was shot and seriously injured.
Paramedics were called to Dryden Road where a man, believed to have been an intruder at one of the homes in the area, had sustained multiple gun-shot wounds.

Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Captain Manqele, said the alleged robber had attempted to stab the homeowner, who in turn shot at the intruder.
Manqele confirmed that the suspect had been stabilised and transported to a nearby hospital.
“The suspect has been released, and will appear in court soon,” he added.
