Ashley resident attacked during house robbery

Paramedics were called to the scene to help treat the man's wounds.

AN Ashley resident was left bloodied and bruised when he was attacked and robbed by two men in his home on Tuesday morning.

According to Blue Security’s tactical ambassador for the Highway Area, Russell Lawson, the suspects entered the house via the open kitchen door.

They then assaulted the resident and demanded the keys for his vehicle.

“Our reaction officer responded when the panic alarm was activated and found the resident bruised and bleeding from severe facial injuries sustained during the attack.

“An ambulance attended the scene to treat the victim’s injuries. The suspects escaped with two cellphones removed from the premises,” Lawson said.
