St Mary’s DSG learners bring book characters to life

The school's senior and primary school learners were eager to dress up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Read Aloud Day.

TO celebrate World Read Aloud Day on Wednesday, 5 February, the primary school girls of St Mary’s DSG, Kloof dressed up as their favourite book character.

The senior primary girls paired up with their junior primary ‘Saints Sister’ to read their favourite book out loud to them. The girls found shady spots in the gardens and quiet corners in the classrooms to sit back and enjoy their story time together.

“What a fun, festive day it was!” said the school’s marketing and communications administrator, Sarah Bartholomew.
