Seniors pampered at Hillcrest Library
After the activities, the elderly residents were served a delicious lunch.
GRANNIES and mkhulus from Ntshongweni and Shongweni Dam were smiling from ear to ear after a treat from the Hillcrest Library.
The senior citizens gathered at the library hall on Wednesday, 4 December where they were welcomed with tea and cakes.

Librarian, Maureen Makhanya, said the elderly residents need to be celebrated.
“This is an annual event where we show them love and remind them they are special and we appreciate them,” said Maureen.
The day included exercise, health talks, dancing and self-defence classes offered by various stakeholders.
