Pinetown Girls’ spoil special guests

The school appreciate the work done by domestic employees.

PINETOWN Girls’ decorated the school hall to host a special event for domestic employees.

PGHS principal, Sibongile Njapha, said the school felt they wanted to appreciate them and acknowledge their importance.

Njapha said the helpers are parents who work to feed their families and they give their all to keep homes and schools clean. She said she also wanted to do away with the stigma attached to their jobs.

“I put together a team of willing learners who shared ideas and took it up and understood servant leadership.

“It was exciting, rewarding and fulfilling to see everyone who attended were in high spirits,” said Njapha.

The special guests felt very honoured by this kind gesture as they were spoiled by the educators and learners. Each guest left smiling with a gift bag.
