View angelic exhibit at Hillcrest’s Woza Moya

Each of the goods on sale at Woza Moya have been expertly hand-crafted and each sale helps support a local crafter and their family.

WOZA Moya is currently hosting two exciting Christmas exhibitions that will run until the end of January.

Split into two parts, the first includes modern African artwork by Sibusiso Duma, a well-known South African painter who recently held a solo sell-out exhibition at Ebony Gallery in Cape Town, and printmaker, Emraldo Malouse whose wood prints have beautiful geometric-based images with a maximum of seven prints per picture.

The second section consists of a community exhibition of painted enamel plates around the theme, Angels and Icons. Community members painted the beautiful plates, which are on sale for R100 donation or more.

In addition to the exhibitions, the shop is ready for Christmas and is overflowing with stunning decorations and gifts.

Woza Moya supports more than 1 500 crafters and each decoration in the shop is hand-made and creates employment locally.
