CROW’s 2020 calendar roars with new beginnings

There is an A2 version, or smaller tent and CD versions available for purchase.

THE Centre for Rehabilitation of Wildlife’s (CROW) 2020 Walk on the Wild Side calendar launched recently and it is filled with stunning wildlife photographs!

Marc and Stella de Chalain of The Storehouse in Westmead sponsored the photos for the 11th edition of the calendar that forms part of the Compass Medical Waste Services’ fund-raising initiative.

“We have always supported the Compass Cares calendar campaign because of our love for Africa’s exquisite wildlife and because of the amazing work that CROW does in the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and injured wild animals,” explained Marc.

“Being able to donate the photos, not only showcases our passion for photography, it allows us to directly help animals in need,” said Stella.

“We commend Compass for driving this fund-raising project that has raised R2.5million for wildlife that would not survive without the intervention of CROW.”

According to the MD of Compass, Ian du Randt, without the support of individuals and businesses such as Marc, Stella and The Storehouse, the dream of a calendar for next year has been made into a reality. “The Compass team have a passion for animals and we believe it is our duty to protect them – to stand up to cruelty on their behalf,” he said.

“Every year I am astounded by the generosity of the sponsors and those who buy the calendar. The Storehouse is a brand new business and Marc and Stella came forward to help in a personal and professional capacity for which we and CROW are so grateful,” said Ian.
