Meet Pinetown author at book signing

PINETOWN author, Geoff Pereira will host a book signing for his debut novel, Our Sins at the German Club in Westville on Saturday, 26 October.

The novel has been available on Amazon since August and Pereira is yet to launch it officially. Pereira said he started writing the book 12 years ago and only two years ago he set his mind on finishing it.

“This is a book on leadership, Africa and dictatorship,” he said.

The 58-year-old joined the military in the 1980s and after five years of service, his career shifted to industrial instruments marketing but admits writing has always been a passion of his.

When asked who should read the book, Pereira said, “The book is non-political, anyone who loves Africa, fiction, romance and crime will enjoy it.”

At the book signing, Our Sins will be sold at R245 and portion of the profit will be donated to Lost Souls Animal Rescue. The event will start at 10am to 2.30pm.
