You will ‘barley’ believe how much was raised

If you missed the Ales for Tails event, fear not as the Kloof and Highway SPCA will also host a Gin and Tonic event on Friday, 25 October!

CLOSE to 700 people attended the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s popular annual event, the Ales for Tails Craft Beer and Music Festival. This year, a total of R77 041.48 was raised.

“We would like to thank every person who attended as well as our sponsors, the beer crafters and our rocking bands,” said the Kloof and Highway SPCA’s Brigitte Rossouw.

The larger than life cheque handover is done by Warren Eades (event organiser from KZN Craft Revolution), Trish Von Niebel (Muddy Dog), Charlie Brown, Barbara Patrick (Kloof and Highway SPCA’s manager), Poppy the Guinea Pig, Sam Clark (YNG GNS Brewery) and Dave Harrison (SA Mastic Asphalt).
