UPDATE: Fire breaks out at a Pinetown SPAR

ARMED response officers from Blue Security assisted a store manager and the eThekwini Fire Department at the scene of a business fire in Pinetown this morning.
According to Blue Security’s media liaison, Andreas Mathios, the fire broke out at a SPAR on Kings Road.
“Working together as a team, armed response officers and firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze that was put out in about 15 minutes,” said Mathios.

The Highway Mail is still awaiting comment from the eThekwini Fire Department and the manager of the SPAR.
