Caffeinate yourself for a good cause

With the simple action of purchasing a coffee at one of the participating outlets in Upper Highway, you will also be contributing to the Ingane Yami Children's Village.

IN honour of Nelson Mandela’s legacy, coffee shops in the Upper Highway area have come on board to donate 67 cents from each cup of coffee sold during the month of July to Ingane Yami Children’s Village, a local non-profit organisation.

“Sixty seven cents may seem like a little, but in the past three years the campaign has raised more than R52 000 for Ingane Yami!

This year, the goal is R18 000 for warm winter clothing for all of the children,” said the NPO’s marketing and fund-raising officer, Patricia Deacon.

Participating coffee shops include Bellevue Café, GoFresh Café, Jooma, La Verdure, Lineage, Makaranga Garden Lodge and Ngwenya Coffee Shop.
