Help Pinetown police identify unknown man

The man's body was found in Anderson Road with no visible injuries.

PINETOWN police have appealed for any information that can assist in identifying an unknown man, whose body was found recently.

Capt Bongumusa Manqele, Pinetown cluster communications officer said the body of the man, estimated to be around 20 years of age, was found in Pinetown on Friday, 31 May at about 10pm.

“The man was found lying in Anderson Road next to the taxi rank wearing denim jeans, a grey jacket and white takkies. He had no visible injuries,” said Manqele.

The police have opened an inquest and would like to appeal to anyone who may know the man to contact Pinetown SAPS on 031 325 5083, Sgt Marritte Smith on 031 325 5054 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
