The Rotary club will be collecting food for Cheshire Home, the Highway Hospice and the Pinetown Highway Child And Family Welfare Society.

THE Rotary Club of Pinetown will collect non-perishable food outside Knowles SPAR from Friday, 26 April to Sunday, 28 April for three charities.

This is the Rotary’s annual gesture to share with the underprivileged.

President, Wendy Mayall said Rotary is a service organisation and its motto is ‘Service Above Self’ which is the reason they will collect food for charities as well as the many other good deeds the Rotarians do.

She also thanked Roy Sheodin, the manager of Knowles SuperSPAR, for always allowing them to do the collection outside the store.

“I also appeal to the public to come and support us by donating at least one food item,” said Mayall.

On Friday they will collect for Cheshire Home, on Saturday for the Highway Hospice and the collection for Sunday will go to the Pinetown Highway Child and Family Welfare Society.
