Pinetown beauty vies for national crown

The Cowies Hill resident's journey began at the beginning of March when she was invited to the second national casting and empowerment workshop at the Emperors Palace along with other beautiful married women from all over South Africa.

FORMER Miss Teen Pinetown, and Miss Pinetown, Jaleen Fuller, has been announced as a Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa Semi-Finalist for 2019, out of a record number of entries received by the organisation.

The Cowies Hill resident’s journey began at the beginning of March when she was invited to the second national casting and empowerment workshop at the Emperors Palace along with other beautiful married women from all over South Africa.

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa is a journey that has gained the reputation of a Women Empowerment Programme that prides itself on producing the very best in real, relatable and modern South African women.

The programme was created for married women who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors for South Africa, on a global scale.

“To me, this platform is not an achievement, but an opportunity to serve and influence by leading as an example,” said Jaleen. The wife and mother of two boys is one of 100 women who stand a chance to be in the top 25 to continue the journey, as finalists, for Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa and they will be announced at the Annual Charity Ball, on 28 June at Centre Court, Emperors Palace.

All proceeds from this event will go to the pageant’s official charity, Women4Women South Africa. The public can vote for Jaleen on the pageant’s Facebook page by liking her image.
