Help Kloof SPCA obtain justice for slain Winston Park dog

SAPS confiscated a pistol, shotgun, two hunting rifles and several rounds of ammunition from the man's home.

THE man who shot Winston, a four-year-old male Boerboel in Winston Park on 18 December was released on bail after he was charged under the Firearms Control Act, No 60 of 2000 and the Animals Protection Act No 71 of 1962.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA, a local non-profit organisation, called on the community to make a donation to help them obtain justice for Winston and other animals in the community who need the NPO to be their voice.

“The Kloof and Highway SPCA would like to thank Heinrich Schwarz who was crucial in finding the perpetrator. We would also like to thank the public for their support during the investigation and especially the caring member of public who reported the traumatic incident. The SPCA needs the eyes and ears of the public to be able to prevent cruelty and get justice for the animals in the community we serve,” said the Kloof SPCA’s Brigitte Rossouw.
