Pinetown artist promotes his new single
ChizM developed a love for music at a very young age.
JOSHUA Nkanyiso Mnyandu’s (left) charismatic personality and passion for entertainment drew positive responses from the audience at church and school events.
Nkanyiso, better known by his stage name ChizM, is a rapper, performer and songwriter from Pinetown and is currently promoting his new single Wesike which features Julluca Spanner.
ChizM developed love for music and performance at a very young age.
His interest in music was formed during his time at Sunday school as well as high school years and he received positive feedback and encouragement from his church, fellow students and teachers.
“I led the church choir and participated in most of the talent shows and entertainment events at school,” he said.

In 2005, ChizM became part of a hip pop group called Izimpisi Ezishisayo, he then moved to Folweni and got separated from his crew, but that did not stop him from doing what he loves most, music.
“That was when I decided to go solo, with the help and mentoring from Siyabonga Zondi, a family friend. I got to experience recording in studio (Heavy Weight Records).
“We worked with Siyabonga for four years. I was approached by Sbopho to be part of the DF Entertainment family.”
Being part of DF Entertainment introduced ChizM to many other artists which he looks up and had an opportunity to perform with which he said reminded him the reason he fell in love with music.
He admitted that there is still so much to learn and will not rest until he makes it to the top.
The music video is now playing on music TV channels.
