Be the next uShaka ambassador

THE 2018’s Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World and Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World competition is open for entries.

You have until Tuesday, 29 May to register online if you think you have what it takes to be an ambassador for one of these much sought after titles when these two exciting annual pageants will take place at one exciting Gala bumper event which is due to take place on Saturday, 13 October.

Supported by Ola this year’s pageant offers prizes and cash totalling R60 000 for the Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World and Mr & Miss uShaka Kids World.

For Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World one can enter online or complete the entry form and submit together with two (2) recent A4 good quality colour photographs (one face and one full body) together with a valid entry form by close of business on Tuesday, 29 May.The winners will also be included in uShaka Marine World’s advertising campaigns and selected events for one year.

Important dates to remember:
Those contestants who are successfully selected from the photo selections will then be invited to go through to the uShaka Marine World regional selections on the dates listed below, hosted at the respective venues around KZN.

Entries can also be found online for those little ones entering the Mr and Miss uShaka Kids World (ages 6-8), that legal guardians or parents must complete the entry form and attach two (2) recent good quality images.

Girls aged between 13 and 16 can enter the Miss Junior uShaka Marine World and the young ladies and gentlemen who are between the ages of 17-27 years old can enter the Mr and Miss uShaka Marine World competition.

· Manual entries Close: Tuesday, 29 May at 16.45pm.

· Regional selections for the 2018 Mr, Miss or Miss Junior uShaka Marine World will take place at 4 venues during the months of June & July:

· 30 June @ Umlazi , Sunday, 1 July @ Galleria Mall; Saturday, 7 July @ Gateway Shopping Centre and Saturday, 14 July at uShaka Marine World, Arena 3 – all starting at 11.00am. Venues will be confirmed with you directly upon confirmation of entry.

· Interviews will then take place for those who have been selected from the above venues at uShaka Marine World in the SAAMBR Classroom on Sunday, July 29 at 09.00am.

· From there, the semi finals for all groups will take place in uShaka in Arena 3 – Saturday, 18 August at 09.00am.

· Moms and Dads, the talent search for your little ones who were selected will take place at uShaka Kids World on Saturday, 28 July.

· Not to forget the Mr & Miss uShaka Marine World facebook competition between Friday, 21 September and Wednesday, 10 October whereby fans can vote for their favourite ambassador who have been selected as a finalist. There will be spot prizes up for grabs for followers!

· The Gala Event will take place on Saturday, 13 October. Tickets will be available online through uShaka ticketing closer to the time , venue and prices to be announced.
