Roxann in the perfect pageant for her passions and culture

She has entered competitions like My Kitchen Rules SA and The Great South African Bake Off to show off her Indian culture through the love she has for food.

HILLARY beauty, Roxann Chinnah, has reached a milestone in the Mrs India South Africa pageant and secured her spot in the top 25.

The 32 year old said the creativity of her Indian culture has started a new journey for her as a Mrs India South Africa Finalist 2018.

“I am extremely honoured to be chosen from more than 600 other women around South Africa as one of the finalists. My ambitious interest in helping our community and uplifting the lives of our women today through Mrs India SA is a unique and enriching experience,” she said.

The Premium Growth professional is happily married, loves her work and how it has inspired her to help others.

Her support comes from her family.

“My husband, Jared, and my family always come first, but helping others in need is a true passion of mine.

“I love cooking, baking, singing, reading and decorating anything,” she said.

Roxann has a great passion for cooking and baking.

She has entered competitions like My Kitchen Rules SA and The Great South African Bake Off to show off her Indian culture through the love she has for food.

“My husband and I are actively involved in our local church as youth leaders and love teaching and grooming the younger generation in our community and love volunteering in group feeding schemes and charity programmes through Chatsworth and surrounding areas,” she said.

This is one of the ways she gives back.

Roxann said she was inspired by her aunt to enter the pageant.

“My aunt, Pushpamal Naidoo, passed away in February 2018 at the Chatsworth Hospice. She was a Chatsworth Hospice ambassador for decades and a cancer survivor.

Her love for the community, the hospitals, Hospice and other charities have truly inspired me to do more for the sickly and homeless women and children around Chatsworth,” she said.

“I entered Mrs India SA to make a difference and inspire other women and give them hope for the future,” she said.
