I DEVOURED this book, it was devilishly delicious and I don’t have a single regret.

There was surely no way the epic, double-twist conclusion of the first novel could be beaten, but Blake knows how to surprise her readers.

The sequel is absolutely dripping with dangerous little clues as to the possible outcome of the three powerful queens.

As a bit of background for those who have sinfully not yet picked up the series, there are three triplet queens born each generation, each with their own unique abilities.

The naturalists, the elementalists and the poisoners. Only one queen may reign. The other two have to die.

The premise is savage and dark, culminating in un-put-downable read.

Mirabella is dead-set on revenge, Arsinoe is hell-bent on keeping her secret and Katherine has her eyes focused on the crown.

The writing is simple to read and the characters are colourful enough for each of them to truly stand out as the chapters switch between the queens.

There will be a total of four books in the series, with the third, Two Dark Reigns, slated for a September release.
