Hillcrest Primary supports Toxic Tuesday

The school raised more than R15 000 for the #SaveOurChildren initiative.

THE learners at Hillcrest Primary School banded together and wore bright and lumo clothing to raise funds during the Toxic Tuesday Civvies Day.

At the time of going to press, the updated total raised was R15 150.

“Thank you Hillcrest Primary School, parents, friends and the community for your generous donations,” said the school’s marketing officer, Kim Joubert.

“Hillcrest Primary School was proud to take part in the Toxic Tuesday, a #SaveOurChildren initiative geared towards fund-raising to fight for closure and rehabilitation of the EnviroServ Dump in Shongweni.”
