Margaret honoured with international award
The successful businesswoman was named as one of the top 50 most impactful social innovators in the world.
MARGARET Hirsch, the COO of the Hirsch Group, was named one of the 50 Most Impactful Social Innovators at the WORLD CSR (sustainable development) Congress.
The 50 Most Impactful Social Innovators, a global listing, is an intensely researched process undertaken by a research cell which consists of post graduates in history and management.
It is the job of the research cell to produce a shortlist of individuals who are doing extraordinary work and track the record of their achievements.

The shortlist is then reviewed by a jury which comprises of senior professionals from across the globe.
“I am extremely honoured to receive this award. South Africa is a land rich in opportunity, and my journey in business, and working in the communities in which we operate, has been exhilarating and humbling at the same time.
“Being able to empower, motivate and encourage women in the community, and show them that whatever I can do, they can do with effort, hard work and passion, is the greatest gift,” said Margaret.
