Help police find missing Mariannhill woman

Anyone who has information regarding Xolisile Chonco (30) is urged to contact the police.  

MARIANNHILL SAPS is appealing for information on the whereabouts of Xolisile Chonco (30) from Mpola, Mariannhill.

Chonco was last seen leaving her home and has been missing since Friday, 2 February.

KZN police spokesman, Lt/Col Thulani Zwane said it is unknown what she was wearing when she went missing.

“We appeal to anyone who might have information on her whereabouts to contact W/O Joseph Sthebe of Mariannhill SAPS on 073 190 1442 or  Crime Stop on 086 0010 111,” said Zwane.

 

UPDATE:

MARIANNHILL police have arrested a 36-year-old man for the alleged murder of Xolisile Chonco (30) who was reported missing on 2 February.

Colonel Thembeka Mbhele, spokesperson for KZN SAPS said a Chonco’s body was found in a shallow grave near her home in the Mpola area in the early hours of Thursday morning (22 February).
