Teenage boy arrested for uncle’s murder
It is alleged the 14-year-old stabbed his uncle in self defence after he threatened him with the screw driver.
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy was arrested by KwaDabeka police for stabbing his uncle to death at the weekend.
According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer, Capt Bongumusa Manqele, it is alleged the teenager caught his 31-year-old uncle stealing clothes belonging to one of his nephews.

“It is alleged that when the teen saw the uncle stealing, he confronted him and the uncle became angry and a fight ensued between the two until the other nephew intervened. The 14-year-old boy locked himself in his room and wept.”
“While he was in his room the uncle persisted to provoke him, threatening him with a screw driver. The 14-year-old then grabbed a table knife and stabbed his uncle on the right-hand side of the chest in self defence.
“The uncle was rushed to KwaDabeka Clinic where he died on arrival,” said Manqele.
