DSW Inner West, Queensburgh and New Germany donned their traditional clothing and shared their respective meals, song and dance.
South Africans celebrated Heritage Day on Sunday, 24 September, honoured their culture with music, dance and food.

As it’s also National Braai Day, many residents got their fires going and the meat to sizzled.
The first Heritage Day was instituted in 1995, after the first free elections that marked the end of apartheid and the beginning of a new, non-racially based democracy.
Heritage Day is also known as the remembrance to King Shaka Zulu, the great chief who united the Zulu tribes into a great nation. Sihle Ndlanzi, Valeryce Govender, Annabelle Joseph and Jerry Skhosana.
