NEW Germany Primary School learner, Shona Weiss, was one of the lucky hand-picked learners to be chosen to appear on the Science 2 Go bus.
The programme, which works alongside 20 primary schools, highlights the importance of maths and science and hosts fun and interactive sessions to create a better understanding of the subjects to learners.
New Germany Primary School educator, Roshini Natasen, said, “We are privileged to have one of our learners on the van and we believe this is a way to encourage other learners to persevere.
“Shona is no longer shy and her confidence has grown in leaps and bounds since the unveiling. The Science 2 Go programme is a fantastic initiative and we wish more schools could be a part of it.”
